James McAvoy (James Andrew McAvoy) was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland on 21st April 1979. He is a Scottish screen and stage actor making his debut as a teen in the movie “The Near Room” back in 1995. His exceptionally admirable roles in television include State of Play and Frank Herbert's Children of Dune. McAvoy made his stage appearance in 2009 in the “Three Days of Rain”.
